Dream (꿈)

Mahanaim Mission Bridge는
함께 세워가는 하나님의 나라를 꿈꿉니다.

이 이름은 창세기 32장에서 야곱이 인생의 전환점에서
하나님의 군대를 만났던 마하나임(Mahanaim)에서 시작되었습니다.

오늘날에도 하나님은,
선교사님들, MK들, 그리고 이 길을 함께 걷는 모든 사람들을 부르십니다.
우리는 그 부르심 앞에 응답하며, 함께 모여
하나님의 나라와 그 의를 이루어 가는 공동체를 꿈꿉니다.

왜 이 꿈을 꾸게 되었는가?

저는 **자비량 선교사의 자녀(MK)**로 자랐습니다.

필리핀에서, 후원 없이 자비로 사역을 감당하셨던 부모님을 보며,
필요가 있어도 쉽게 말할 수 없었던 선교사님들의 모습을 가까이에서 보았습니다.
늘 사역의 열매를 위해 헌신하셨지만,
연결되지 못해 외로운 시간을 보내야 했던 분들도 있었습니다.

그때 깨달았습니다.
"선교의 부르심의 차이"가 아니라,
"연결의 유무"가 사역의 격차를 만든다."

그래서 우리는
기도와 사랑이 행동으로 이어지는 연결을 꿈꾸게 되었습니다.

우리의 꿈

• 선교사님들의 필요가 단순한 리스트가 아니라, 기도 제목이 되는 세상
• 성도들의 헌신이 봉사로 끝나지 않고, 하나님의 나라를 실제로 세우는 움직임이 되는 세상
• 후원자가 아니라, 동역자로 함께 걷는 사역의 문화
• 모든 이가 선교적 삶을 오늘 이 자리에서도 살아낼 수 있는 세상

우리는 선교사님과 교회, 헌신자와 사역지가
서로를 살리고 일으키는 생명의 다리를 세우기 원합니다.

우리의 여정

Mahanaim Mission Bridge는 작은 씨앗처럼 시작되었습니다.
하지만 우리는 믿습니다.

• 지금은 작은 씨앗이지만, 함께 심는다면 숲이 될 것을.
• 지금은 작은 연결이지만, 하나님의 나라를 이루는 다리가 될 것을.

우리는 이 작은 걸음들이 모여
세상에서 가장 조용하고, 가장 위대한 하나님의 군대가 되리라 믿습니다.

Dream

Mahanaim Mission Bridge was born out of a dream:
to build God's Kingdom together.

The name "Mahanaim" comes from Genesis 32,
where Jacob, at a major turning point in his life,
encountered the army of God and named that place Mahanaim.

Even today, God calls missionaries, MKs (Missionary Kids), and all who walk this path with Him.
We respond to that calling, gathering together to dream of
a community that lives for God's Kingdom and His righteousness.

Why This Dream?

I grew up as the child of a self-supporting missionary.

In the Philippines, I watched my parents serve faithfully without any financial sponsorship.
I witnessed missionaries who, despite great needs, could not easily ask for help.
I saw many who continued their ministries with great dedication but in deep loneliness and disconnection.

And through it all, I realized:

"It’s not the difference in calling that creates gaps in missions.
It’s the presence or absence of connection."

That’s why we dream of a bridge—
where prayer and love are not just words, but actions.

Our Dream

• A world where missionaries' needs are embraced as prayer requests, not burdens
• A world where believers’ dedication leads not just to service, but to the building of God's Kingdom
• A mission culture where supporters become true partners and co-workers
• A life where everyone can live missionally, right where they are

We dream of becoming a bridge of life,
where missionaries, churches, supporters, and ministries are connected, strengthened, and revived.

Our Journey

Mahanaim Mission Bridge started as a small seed.
But we believe:

• Even the smallest seed, when sown together, can become a forest.
• Even the smallest connection, when built in love, can become a bridge to God's Kingdom.

We believe that these small steps will grow into
the quiet yet mighty army of God in this world.
